Since I'm trying to lean more towards a stylized-realism style, I figured I should study Kevin Chen, since his figure drawings and face renderings are nothing short of awesome.
For reference, this is what I was trying to emulate.
Need more practice.

Loomis studies 2
Mannequin skeletons this time. Trying to get a sense of action.
The two big ones and the two to the right of those are taken from Loomis' books. All the other ones are drawn from imagination.

Loomis studies 1
In order to get better, I have to reteach myself how to draw, basically. So, what better way than to learn from the master himself, Andrew Loomis?
I'll be studying his books for a bit before I decide to do another 'big' piece, so you'll probably see more of these in the future.
Besides, an artist never stops learning.

Posture sketches
Haven't posted anything in a hot minute. Art block and whatnot. Plus, I gotta get ready for finals coming up.
The fine folks over at Posemaniacs have this nifty 30-second-pose app. I decided to give it a shot and found it fun as hell. Informative, too.
They're done in pencil on printer paper (except the third one. I drew that on my old high school sketchbook, hence the dark part, there.)
