Here's page 2. You'll notice I'm simplifying the coloring. This is for two reasons: makes the whole thing a lot easier to churn out, and it's an exercise for me on simplifying things and not overrender everything, as I tend to do.
So, this comic I've been working on, I think I've narrowed it down to two names:

Ever Skyward
Through the Skies' Eyes

Kratos doodles

I'm planning on doing a silly God of War comic, so tonight, I did some doodles.
Bottom right is a sort-of homage to Coelasquid, since she draws the best cartoon angry Kratos face ever.

I tried to do something new here, but it didn't turn out quite how I envisioned it. Oh well. One can only learn by trying out new things, right? :)

Prelim 2

Settled on the second scene. Here's the rough.

Hunters Preliminary

Since the Hunters contest at PK Forum is over on Sunday, I need to hustle to finish it on time. Here are two ideas I like for it, but I don't know which one to use.
The top one shows the hunters, bruised and battered, victorious over the corpse of their prey. The bottom one shows them ambushing the Seraphasaurus (trying out some crazy perspective, too.)

Anybody here read Manly Guys?
About a month or so ago, I decided to draw a bishified Commander for Coelasquid, the comic's creator, just for the hell of it, but never did finish it. Well, it turns out, she beat me to it. I mentioned it to her because I found it amusing that we both had the same idea, and she said she wanted to see it.
So I finished it tonight. I had to go through an official! (imaginary) checklist to make sure I got it right.

Ahem!

1. Crazy fucked up anatomy (pecs are square... right?)   -Check!
2. Adonis-like flowing gold mane?   -Check!
3. Replace every article of clothing with leather?   -Check!
4. Comically over-sized accessories?   -Check!
5. Flawless skin (no hair below the forehead! Ew!)   -Check!
6. What's a waist?   -Check!
7. Fucking sparkles or some shit!  -Check!
8. Weird, creepy-ass 'I want your penis, even though I'm totally straight' look?   -Fuckin' check!
9. Kawaii shit and my name with "-san" attached to it?  -Hell yeah!
10. EYEBROWS ON TOP OF THE GOGGLES!   -Check!

Please, no critique. I already know he's perfect. And gorgeous.

Superhero costumes ideas

As I said in my previous post, I drew my wife's character, Laele, in her superhero persona. Kathy pointed out that she looks just like a regular Ragnarok Alchemist wearing a mask, and it's true: the idea spawned from the time my wife decided to put a simple mask on her character and call it a superhero disguise.
Keeping with the theme, I designed some superhero costumes for her, so that she'd fit in more properly with the superhero idea, and, of course, she picked the one that looks the most like her original Ragnarok costume.
Below are the costumes I drew for her, number 4 being the one she picked.
