Valentine's sketch

This is a sketch of an old drawing I did, back in 08, when I was amazing at art. [link]
I wanted to redo the whole thing and fix it for Valentine's Day, for my wife, but I didn't have enough time to finish it. Maybe some day, I will return to it and make it even better.
In the meantime, enjoy, and if you'd like, critique it.

Violinist

Done for my PK challenge. This is actually two challenges rolled into one (draw a musical instrument in black and white or values, and draw a weird-looking cartoony guy). Since I was behind, I figured why not draw them both at the same time? It's not every day I get to play around with crazy styling. Fun stuff!
I must be channeling my inner Picasso or something! :D
