Hand anatomy

Hands have always been a weakness of mine, but I've never really taken a good look at them. Hopefully, this'll help me understand them a bit better.

15 minute warm up sketch of Daryl Hannah.
It's tough doing a timed sketch, because as soon as 15 minutes were up, I set the stylus down, then had to fight the urge to go back in and fix/polish things. Maybe next time!

Balder Knight

Just a sketch of a Balder Knight from Dark Souls, done with no reference.
In-laws are staying here for the weekend, and I have effectively gotten my brother-in-law addicted to the wanton self-punishment that is Dark Souls.
It's been a good weekend.

I tried something different this time: draw a rough sketch in soft brushes underneath, then put the line sketch on top.
