Boss fight - initial concept

There's this contest going over at Polykarbon where we have to design a final boss of a hypothetical game. So I thought, what if the guy you're fighting, who you thought was the final boss, is on his own quest, and YOU'RE the final boss of his adventure?
There's more story to go with it, but I'll wait til I have it more fleshed out before I post it. :)
